I use this hiking stick 5 days per week for a 6 mile walk from home to work. It is very helpful for balance while negotiating uneven ground along roads lacking sidewalks. It is very attractive and extremely well-made.
Just the right height. Glad it looked just like the image; all too often the blackthorn stick is painted black. This stick has a clear lacquer so that the purplish skin can be appreciated.
Excellent. The thumb notch is very comfortable, it takes stress ofc the bone at the base of the thumb, which i once fractured.
Very beautiful and a nice weight. Love the little card that came with it telling you all about blackthorn wood. Fast shipping and a great product. Photos do not show how nice this walking stick is
