- Put on the user’s walking shoes.
- Have the user stand naturally upright as much as possible.
- Have their arms fall to the sides naturally with a normal relaxed bend at the elbow. (Please see Image for correct posture.)
- Using a tape measure or yard stick, measure the distance from their wrist joint (bottom crease at the wrist) (A) down to the ground. (B) Round up to the nearest half inch. (**For accurate length a second person must read the measurement to prevent the users wrist from moving)

Great cane, low price.
My wife bought this cane for me(a 25 year old man with Rheumatoid Arthritis) against my objection, and turns out, I really needed it! The handle is great, if a bit small for me, and comfortable to hold with a three fingered grips. It helps with my balance and mobility and I never feel as if I'm just "stuck" anymore. Doesn't help that it's a timeless, stylish design, and is highly aesthetically pleasing to me.
