- Put on the user’s walking shoes.
- Have the user stand naturally upright as much as possible.
- Have their arms fall to the sides naturally with a normal relaxed bend at the elbow. (Please see Image for correct posture.)
- Using a tape measure or yard stick, measure the distance from their wrist joint (bottom crease at the wrist) (A) down to the ground. (B) Round up to the nearest half inch. (**For accurate length a second person must read the measurement to prevent the users wrist from moving)

Item came with a couple gouges in the handle, apart from that I don't have any complaints. If you're using this cane for practical reasons, I'd consider getting a more sturdy tip for it. It's a very light cane, which I love, but the standard tip makes it flimsy to use.

I have eight canes from you . This is the first I'm not happy with. It is PINK and some green. NOT really "bronze. And it scratches VERY easily! All I did was put the cane in my shopping cart (carefully) and the pain chipped off. This first time I used it. The quality is just not up to the Fashionable Cane standard. I'm sorry i purchased it now. I don't even use it. I just don't want to pay to ship it back.
