- Put on the user’s walking shoes.
- Have the user stand naturally upright as much as possible.
- Have their arms fall to the sides naturally with a normal relaxed bend at the elbow. (Please see Image for correct posture.)
- Using a tape measure or yard stick, measure the distance from their wrist joint (bottom crease at the wrist) (A) down to the ground. (B) Round up to the nearest half inch. (**For accurate length a second person must read the measurement to prevent the users wrist from moving)

Looks great and should be a lot more sturdy than the last cane I bought about a year ago which happen to break at the top where it is glued together with a dowel. I receive my new cane the day the other one broke. I was buying this new cane to use everyday and save the fancier looking one for special outings, didn't work out. I love the new cane and would recommended it to anyone.

Was very dissapointed, was supposed to bre green, but it looks brown. Not at all like on the site.

When I ordered this cane, I was a bit afraid that the green stain would be a bit too vibrant and might look silly. However, when it arrived, I was very pleased with it (you can barely tell it's green...more of a natural, greenish brown). It is sturdy, light, and the finish is beautiful. My favorite cane.
