Do this method by simply measuring from the lowest part on the top of the handle (A) to the bottom of the rubber tip (B). Round up to the bearest half inch.

  1. Put on the user’s walking shoes.
  2. Have the user stand naturally upright as much as possible.
  3. Have their arms fall to the sides naturally with a normal relaxed bend at the elbow. (Please see Image for correct posture.)
  4. Using a tape measure or yard stick, measure the distance from their wrist joint (bottom crease at the wrist) (A) down to the ground. (B) Round up to the nearest half inch. (**For accurate length a second person must read the measurement to prevent the users wrist from moving)

Favorite cane ever!

I've had this cane for a couple of years, and I absolutely love it. It's beautiful and hefty enough that I feel like I could use it in self-defense, if necessary. I've bought lots of canes from Fashionable Canes, but not in the past two years, because I've not seen another one that I would prefer to use (sorry, Fashionable Canes, this product is so great that I've become a less frequent customer!). I highly recommend!!

HIgh-end; the best of the best!

First off, this is an expensive cane. Having said that, it is well worth the price: It is heavy/sturdy; it is both left and right handed; it is classic in its design, and I feel proud to use it.
