This is definitely a two piece cane, with the metal buttons that allow it to be adjustible. Mine is the middle length, and collapsing it all the way down does not save hardly any room. A foldable is more space friendly. Construction is solid, and it is unbelievably light.

This is now my "everyday" cane. Sleek finish looks good from office to after 5. Travels well, and with adjustments can adapt to various heel heights with a couple of clicks and twists. Carbon fiber is light weight but sturdy.
