This stunning Bocote wooden cane is golden brown in color with dramatic streaking throughout the handle and shaft. - Put on the user’s walking shoes.
- Have the user stand naturally upright as much as possible.
- Have their arms fall to the sides naturally with a normal relaxed bend at the elbow. (Please see Image for correct posture.)
- Using a tape measure or yard stick, measure the distance from their wrist joint (bottom crease at the wrist) (A) down to the ground. (B) Round up to the nearest half inch. (**For accurate length a second person must read the measurement to prevent the users wrist from moving)

Absolutely beautiful and solid cane. I believe it has a slim profile, but that was my preference.

First of all four stars is only because of good service received from fashionable canes, If not for that, my review would be TWO Stars. This is a "slim" cane, it does not say that on the website and I was surprised when I received it. There is an ebony slim that says slim on the website that is basically the same as this cane. Also the weight listed on this cane is incorrect as it is listed as the same weight as the larger derby version of this cane which is not a slim cane. Just a heads up so you do not make the same mistake as I did. This cane is also much darker and redder than what is pictured, but I of course understand that when dealing with wood grain, patterns and wood shades will vary, so that is more preference than anything the cane is still good looking. Finally the fit and finish of the cane is sloppy, as there was dripping glue residue from the collar. Not a huge deal but for the price you would expect a higher level of craftsmanship. I would also recommend cutting the cane yourself, since I had mine cut by fashionable canes I had to pay a restocking fee plus shipping to return a cane that was basically not what I ordered, lesson learned.
