About the Able Tripod Base
The Able Tripod Base was one of the first self-standing cane bases on the market. Since then, newer designs have come out, and some of them are less likely to mark your floors.

These are the three bases we recommend now.
SafeTbase Self-Standing Cane Tip
Made by Fortelo, the SafeTbase has four rubber feet, like a small quad base. It does not mark floors at all. If you're worried about marks on your floors, this is the one to get.
Black Stability Stix Self-Standing Base
A flat base with three feet that helps your cane stand up on its own.
Glow-in-the-Dark Stability Stix Self-Standing Base
The same flat, three-foot design. It glows in the dark, so it's easier to see at night.
