Inside the face mask covers is clear acrylic to look like glass. The miniature Mark 5 helmet is a look alike to the early 1900"s model that seamen in the US Navy used until the 1980"s. The brass helmet sits on top of a black varnished beechwood shaft. The brass grills on the handle are rounded enough to not cause discomfort to the user"s hand. Excellent walking stick

I wear size XL gloves and was concerned that the helmet might feel a bit small in the hand. It does not. This is a very well crafted diver's helmet and is well worth the expense. Thanks for the great walking cane!

Always gets noticed whenever I use it in Public

I have had this walking stick for at least 10-years but never got around to reviewing it. It is a bit heavy compared to other canes/walking-sticks that I have because of the Brass Divers Helmet but it is very sturdy. the Divers Helmet fits nicely into my palm making the walking stick a natural extension of my forearm.
