I have MS, so I use a cane anytime I'm going to be in public or walking for any distance. I have received many, many compliments on this cane. As a dog show person, it is an ideal pattern for me. The cane is light weight and yet sturdy, giving me a feeling of security. Only 4 stars were given because of the difficultly in folding the cane. I just leave it open and put it in my "cane holder".
