I just received this cane and I am delighted! Very sturdy, easily adjusted to the needed height, easily folded in two. The hinge appears to be metal too - and as another reviewer noted, a snap of the wrist and the cane is ready to go! A folding cane is great for when you don't always need one - I find I need a cane more after working all day - and then I don't have it with me. Problem solved.

I love this cane! I do wish it came in a couple other colors, but that's a minor point. I own a less expensive, adjustable (but not folding) cane with a wrist strap and it's fine but, you can't beat the convenience of a cane that easily folds and unfolds. It's so easy to quickly get the thing out of the way when necessary. Well worth the price!

Really love the offset handle. Had a folding cane with a separate handle. Handle fell off ( after grandchild played with it --I was unaware he did this) and I almost fell downstairs. This cane is balanced well and is light. I would love to see some model with feminine prints.( flowers or patterns, or something other than black. I also love the easy opening and folding. I hope the piece that opens and closes the cane is metal.
