Very sturdy and comfortable to use. The pewter band gives it a real touch class. We have to date ordered 3 canes. Two for my wife ( walks using 2 canes ) and one for me. We both find the Derby handle very comfortable. I am ordering another cane for travel. It will be another Wenge Wood Derby but will be the 3 part take apart cane. I would however liked the loop of the wrist strap to have been wider.
