It is made with one of the highest performance methods where it is triple wound. This process is methodically by wrapping a mesh of carbon fiber stands over the shaft. Not only does this help with strength, but it gives a unique "snake skin" look when it is viewed under light. The triple wound method is used to make extremely strong items such as high performance tennis rackets and the body of formula race cars. This is great cane. Because of an injury, I've been using a cane for over 7 months. It was the adjustable aluminum one they give after surgery. It clinked and clanged all the time and since it was so ugly I decided to get a few more. This cane is really nice, it's so comfortable and very light.
