- Let your arms fall to your sides naturally with a normal relaxed bend at the elbow.
- Using a tape measure or yard stick, measure the distance from your wrist joint (bottom crease at the wrist) down to the floor. Round up to the nearest half inch.

This cane is perfect, except for one small defect, easily accomodated: The knob which sticks through holes in middle to adjust height is difficult to depress, making rapid adjustment for different environments troublesome. I had this exact cane before (and finally lost it, so ordered a new one) and the former knob depressed easily.
This is simply a beautiful cane in looks!
