Great Cane, But
For the price I expected better. When it arrived it took all of my strength to get the sword out of the shaft. Not acceptable for self defense uses. I’m lucky that the interior sheath didn’t pull out of the shaft with it. The sheath collar and blade base were rusty and stuck together. The blade itself had numerous rust marks on it as well.
I managed to clean off the rust and lubricate the blade and collar area so it is now easier to remove the blade.
Against company recommendations I did shorten it to make it functional as a cane as well. Wish sword canes were more easily sized.
