How do I find my size?
This cane adjusts from 28.5" to 38.5" (fits about 4'9" to 6'5"). Put on your walking shoes, stand with your arms relaxed at your sides, and measure from your wrist crease to the floor. Then set the cane to that length.

3 ways to find your cane length
1. Measure the cane user (most accurate) Tap to open
In walking shoes, stand upright with arms relaxed at your sides, and measure from the wrist crease to the floor. A second person reading the tape gives the best result.
If your measurement is exactly a whole or half inch (like 34" or 34½"), order that size. If it's in between (like 34¼"), round up to the next half inch (34½").
2. Measure a cane that already fits Tap to open
Measure from the lowest point on top of the handle to the bottom of the tip. Use your exact measurement if it's a whole or half inch. Otherwise, round up to the next half inch.
3. Estimate from your height Tap to open
Your cane length is about half your height. Example: 5'6" is 66 inches, so 33". It works for most people but isn't exact, so measure when your cane arrives.

Shortening it yourself
Most canes can be shortened at home. Remove the tip, cut the extra length off the bottom, and put the tip back on. Canes can be shortened but not lengthened. Don't cut umbrella, sword, or seat canes, or any cane marked not to be sized.

I do like this cane. I must admit it is a thinner cane than I anticipated. It looks nice and will be a good conversation piece. A great way to share your faith. I also like that the cane is quiet. Most adjustable canes I have owned get a bit "clanky" over time. You hear the cane hitting against itself. Not so with this cane.
