almost perfect, a wooden scabbard would have made it lighter,, but the aluminum scabbard makes it a bit heavy to carry for a long distance hike. The length of the blade is perfect and is the exact length a sword cane should be and not the size of a dagger. Also the company is excellent and reliable tp deal with 10+++++++

Unable to shorten the cane, it is for person 6' and taller, NOT RECOMMEND FOR A SHORTER PERSON. ( FASHIONABLE CANES SHOULD INFORM BUYERS.) THIS COULD BE A BIG PROBLEM. Now I'm stuck with a cane, I am 5'8" tall, if you are shorter, FORGET IT, DON'T ORDER IT!!
