Actually I couldn't find a Scratch or a Dent. The only defect I found was the shaft had a very slight bow that you had to look hard to see and I couldn't notice it at all when using it. I have six cane's from Fashionable & I still use the first one I purchased about 15 years ago. Very happy with this purchase and I'll continue to buy from Fashionable Canes.
