I like the cane but to say I'm disapointed is an understatement.The collar came broken and split looks like it was pounded in with a mallot. The head of the cane is said to be blue, fine, dress blues/ Marine Corp. When I opened the box it was purple the surface was chipped and not pefect. Small like it had been droped or pounded on in assembly. It was hard enough to accept I was going to need a cane, but to end up with far less than i had hoped for was another bitter pill! Still it's nicer than my VA issued generic DME cane so I guess I'm better off But Still the Marine in me wants something SHARP! And this ain't it.

It is a very nice cane and well constructed. The blue shaft is quite lovely. I was a bit disappointed in the emblem. It does not show well, as pictured. It seems to get lost in the ball.
