Arrived well packed and ahead of schedule. Love the feel of the chrome derby handle, the pewter band adds a very nice touch, and the ebony shaft is flawless. The cane has a nice, hefty feel to it. I look forward to carrying it when dressed up to attend local orchestra performances. Curiously, the cane is listed as 37 inches (for a man 6'1"); however, it is the exact same length as two other canes purchased from this same company listed as 37.5 inches (for a man 6'2"). I am 6'2" and took a chance that this cane, at one half inch shorter, would still be comfortable enough. Not to worry, it's perfect for me.
