The handle. The sleek, powerful dolphin handle is made for the man who lives on the water, whether he's running a boat, fishing offshore or just most at home on the coast. Every handle starts as an artisan's hand-carved wax original, then is cast in solid brass and hand polished. The raised surfaces are brought to a bright gold shine while the etched recesses stay darker, giving the contrast and depth that machine-buffed handles can't match. The finish is durable and made for daily carry. The solid brass handle also counterweights the blade, so the cane feels balanced in your hand. A heat-tempered steel pin anchors the handle in place for strength and long-term durability.

The blade. Unlike the short daggers hidden in many sword canes, this is a full-length 29" rapier blade of heat-tempered 1055 carbon steel, about 5/8" (15 mm) wide and 3/16" (4.75 mm) thick, hand polished to a bright finish. As with sword canes across the industry, the blade ships unsharpened for safe handling. A knife sharpener can put on exactly the edge you want, or you can sharpen it yourself.

The shaft. A rugged, seamless metal shaft in a rich mahogany finish with brass accents to match the handle. The bottom is capped with a cast brass ferrule and a high-quality rubber tip for sure footing. Metal is more durable than wood, trading the natural wood grain for a sleek, uniform finish.
