How do I find my size?
This cane: 37.5" if left uncut. Free custom fit sizing fits users 4'10" – 6'3".

3 ways to find your cane length
1. Measure the cane user (most accurate) Tap to open
In walking shoes, stand upright with arms relaxed at your sides, and measure from the wrist crease to the floor. A second person reading the tape gives the best result.
If your measurement is exactly a whole or half inch (like 34" or 34½"), order that size. If it's in between (like 34¼"), round up to the next half inch (34½").
2. Measure a cane that already fits Tap to open
Measure from the lowest point on top of the handle to the bottom of the tip. Use your exact measurement if it's a whole or half inch. Otherwise, round up to the next half inch.
3. Estimate from your height Tap to open
Your cane length is about half your height. Example: 5'6" is 66 inches, so 33". It works for most people but isn't exact, so measure when your cane arrives.

Shortening it yourself
Most canes can be shortened at home. Remove the tip, cut the extra length off the bottom, and put the tip back on. Canes can be shortened but not lengthened. Don't cut umbrella, sword, or seat canes, or any cane marked not to be sized.

My name is Lee Pinckney, recently moved to southwest Florida after living in New York State for 70+ years. After 8 months in FL (and missing all of that glorious snow) I've collected an assortment of boss ass Panama hats, to shield the sun; and more recently several elegant canes from Fashionable Canes, a couple of Fritz's and a Derby. After 8 hip surgeries between 1988 and 2014 my right leg wound up .75" shorter than the left. Even with orthotics my gait was terribly off. One of several physical therapists suggested I use a cane for straightening out my gait and to assist in me walking more upright. It's just ok. I was disappointed in the color. Not really a red. Does not have that extra nice look that other canes i've bought at FC. I usually get compliments on their canes. We'll see.
