This product was easy for me to size after watching the helpful video describing how to size an adjustable cane. I require a 30" cane and all I had to do was loosen the collar, move the shaft out a notch, retighten the collar and done! I wanted a less expensive cane to shop with after reading several instances of people having canes stolen from autos, shopping carts.
This cane is beautifully finished, attractive and after suffering from a severe "hand ache" from traditionally handled canes I will never use anything bit a Fisher Palm Grip cane.
I am now eyeing the Amber handled Blackthorn palm cane, as I have Scots Irish heritage and have the luck to own my great grandfather's Blackthorn stick and always wanted my own. I just carried my first purchase, the black soft grip palm cane in black beechwood that I had a monogrammed brass plate applied to to a retirement party last night and it added a touch of class to my attire rather than looking like the orthopedic appliance it actually served as! I love these products as they are quality items and attractive and unique. If you have to use a walking stick, for Heaven's sake get one with some character!

I haven't used this cane outside yet, but the palm grip handle feels more comfortable than the usual cane handles. I have bad osteoarthritis & my hands & wrist are affected,so especially for long term walking, I think this will be a better option.
