    I ordered 32 1/1 ". It is shorter than the other cane I ordered. I am disappointed in the "yellowness" of the swan, but more important, when I called I was told that the measurement is from the hump of the swan. I think it should be where my hand rests at the curve of the swan's tail. Buyers should be warned to order 1/2 inch longer than usual. Shirley Stuelpnagel
